Business Details A prestigious design was produced by Clive Clark and Peter Alliss and work started in the late 1980's. Unfortunately, like a wealth of development at this time, money ran out and work stopped after digging a wealth of big holes and moving a wealth of soil. The site was then left untouched for 6 years, and became totally overgrown. Construction work started spring 1995 and finished with the seeding of the course in September of that year. The course was then allowed to settle for 18 months before opening in May 1997. A huge, modern, but traditional clubhouse was built to coincide with the opening of the course.
